    This a most beautiful,calm and inspiring place near darjeeling.We have just passed through this place with family and got the best video clip out of my 12 days vaccations to darjeeling and sikkim.I've also uploaded my experiences through video clip as" undiscovered mungpoo" by vivek chandel.I've planned to stay for a week time in next summer with family at this sacred place

    Shelpu Hills is a scenic, beautiful, Eco-friendly place and so is the famous Salamander lake called Namthing Lake, derived from Lepcha Language. Shelpu is in equal height of Mungpu and can be seen from both sides either from Shelpu to Mungpu or Mungpu to Shelpu.
